Abstrakt
| For over two centuries, industrial structures have been important drivers of economic development in settlements. The development of construction and population is also related to this. Today, these structures are often located in close proximity to settlement centres. Their operation creates a certain burden (hygienic, traffic, ecological) for these settlements. The main subject of the research is to define the possibilities of conversions of industrial buildings in contrast to their historical development and relationship to their surroundings. The research will work with existing conversions and a review study on the application of the principles of restoration of disused industrial buildings. An important aspect for evaluation is also the work with the public space and its interconnection to the new function with the surroundings - whether it contributes to enrichment or not. The aim is to determine the relationship between the possibility of converting industrial buildings and the im pact on urban structures within settlements. Finally, an evaluation of the collected data and an outline of possi ble future work on this issue will be made.. |
