Abstrakt
| Digitization has already become part of our households and especially of each one of us. The banking sector, the banks, managed to get closer to people, to their clients, with the help of digitization. I guess today’s society cannot even imagine life without internet banking and cashless payment using payment cards and other digital technologies. Therefore, the aim of this article was to find out from our research the use of payment cards by bank clients in the era of digitization in the current era, we were interested in the years of the COVID 19 pandemic, specifically the years 2019 and 2021. Our research mainly concerned the Slovak market. We focused on the use of debit and credit cards and the number of transactions through mobile devices and other similar indicators. In this article, we want to look at what types of cards are currently used in Slovakia, what trend we as a country have been following in 2019 and 2021.. |
