Abstrakt
| Sustainability of economic development is increasingly dependent on a country’s ability to achieve a high level of competitiveness. The paper focuses on the investigation of structural aspects of competitiveness, examining the interrelationship of the achieved level of competitiveness of the economy and the nature of competitive advantages alongside. Using the DEA method, we evaluate the level of efficiency in the transformation of the country’s competitiveness parameters into its economic performance. The structural aspect of competitiveness is substantiated in the commodity-structural comparison of the nature of competitiveness, evaluated by the method of revealed elasticity and factor intensity of export. The analysis is aimed at small open economies. The results did not confirm a clear-cut link between the level of competitiveness of the economy and its qualitative characteristics.. |
