Abstrakt
| Fiscal policy is an essential part of every country’s economic policy. The stability of public finances is important for maintaining economic prosperity and the functioning of the economy. It follows from economic theory that in times of boom, states should be able to create reserves for the period when it will be necessary to rehabilitate the economy due to the decline in its performance caused by any impulse. The creator of fiscal policy is the government, so it is clear that its implementation will not be subject only to economic factors, but especially to the effort to gain voting votes for the next term. For this reason, most EU countries, but also most of the world’s economies, are facing the problem of a debt crisis. And it is beginning to take on a large dimension. The aim of this paper is to map the development of the fiscal situation in the domestic economy. Based on the obtained data, the current situation is described and recommendations for the implementation of fiscal policy for the following period are outlined in order to prevent the possibility of applying the debt brake.. |
